Why do so many pokemon fans feel like each pokemon needs to be designed with them in mind. It's just such a selfish way for people to think. It's fine not to like a design it wasn't made for you it was made for the people that do like it. A lot of people love scizor, personally I'm not a fan. A lot of people hate trubbish, but I love the design. I feel like so many people miss the point of these games

By the way, am I the only one who thinks the dog form of Zygarde feels out of place? I mean, the theme seems to be serpent to serpent-like and then out of nowhere a dog... I think it would have worked better as its own thing versus being a form of Zygarde

he also came here in Italy if that was the point :p I don't really see a game with another region, especialy a region bordering with southern France since southern France is missing right now... I don't think 3DS can handle it, plus if there was in fact another region it would be holland due to the flowers :v

I have this theory that the dog is artificially created/manipulated by Lysandre <.< it also has a strange orange "dog tag" near his neck, but it doesn't seem to be the "brain cell"

So Digimon Tamers could be copied too. Gamefreak should tell where their inspiration comes from.

X and Y pretty strongly hinted at it happening.

I thought Pokemon Z was obvious, I don't know why some people thought that it was not going to happen.

It does look out of place when you simply look at them, but when you realize that the main legendaries of X &Y are based on Norse Mythology, it all begins to become clearer.  While Xerneas and Yveltal represent one of the Stags and Eagle from Yggdrasil, Zygarde was thought to represent the wyrm Nidhogg, but now it seems that is not case, and that Zygarde and its 10%, 50%, and Perfect Form represent Loki's three children.  The 10% being Fenrir the Wolf, the 50% form being the World Serpent, and the Perfect Form representing the most human looking of the children, Hel.  This would lead to two things in the storyline of Z:

- Lysandre learns that the AZ originally used part of Perfect Zygarde's power to fuel his machine

- Lysandre decides to use Perfect Zygarde instead of Xerneas or Yveltal to repower AZ's machine.

The first thing would make a lot of sense going by the myth of Hel, which played a important role in the revival of Baldr, god of Purity and Light, or if we want to go by what the game will probably tell us, Perfect Zygarde played a key role in powering the ultimate weapon that revived AZ's Floette.

X and Y strongly hinted at ORAS and to 7th gen (since none between Italy, Germany and Spain has Tiki-like statues), and as I said if it was based on another European Region it would be either southern France or Holland
