Forums - Gaming Discussion - iPhone 6s, 6s Plus Prices Increase In Europe, Canada And Australia

Wow I clicked on this at the wrong time. My wife just asked me to download the photos from her iPhone and I realised I now have to go looking for a USB to lightning cable instead of the many standard cables I have lying around.

Fuck Apple.

Technology is supposed to get cheaper as time progresses.
At these price points expect to see more and more switch to android.

Android devices are whack and Apple knows it. That is why they can raise the Price.

LOL how wrong you are...

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

The dollar course argument might work for CAD and AUD but it certainly doesn't for €.
The euro is actually stronger than the Dollar for christsake. If anything, european coutries should be paying less. And yes, the euro is not as strong as it used to be compared to the dollar but if we take the german price without taxes we get about 621€. Doesn't sound too bad huh? Well 621€ are about 692 dollars. That's about 43 dollars more expensive than in the US.
I said the same with console prices when ps4 and Xbox one prices were first announced and while the British price got adjusted for pounds, the Euro (which at the time was 1.5 - 2 times as strong as the dollar if I remember correctly) price was exactly the same. If your going to adjust for currency, at least be consistent.

Just download the photo transfer app, no cable needed.

Apple may be anticipating further EUR weakness in the future.

$1000. Oof!

Apple is such a cunty corporation, they already make hundreds of dollars in profit on every phone they sell and still have the audacity to raise prices and blame exchange rates, if only idiots would stop eating Apples shit up like this.

Fuck Apple.

You still use cables for data transfer from and to mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, handhelds, notebooks) at home?

And which is THE "standard USB cable"? Some of my mobile devices still have mini-USB, many have micro-USB, some have a flat USB3.0-port, some of my next devices will probably need an USB Type-C-cable. The Nintendo handhelds have also their own ports.

WiFi is the way to go for data transfer.
