In brazil we are already joking that we should buy iPads as an investment, the basic model iPad air 1 was sold for 1899 BRL last year, before iPad air 2 release, today the same gadget costs 3.499 BRL, all thanks to exchange rate and rising taxes.
I think apple might believe rising prices around the world won't be a big deal, but they can be shooting their feet, and I'm sure they could at least use the same prices, since euro is still more valuable than dollar.

Yeah same in NZ. The base iPhone 6 was 999 at release, the 6s is 1199
Apple are so, so clever. Never bought any of their products. I don't think this price rise will stop the Apple users using their products.
The prices seem to increase every model generation (UK).
PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One
Ya technology becoming really expensive now. But i'm not paying over 400 for a phone.
Getting the iPhone 6S Plus 128 GB in October. Sure, it's expensive, but I'll use it for 3-4 years and I don't want anything other than iOS. Don't get me wrong, Android isn't bad. But I, personally, just like iOS better.
Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.
I only have a 5S, time to upgrade. Getting the 128GB 6S. It's close to $1400 in AU, which is a rip-off.
Technically were Apple makes most of its money is with the flash memories. Apple always overcharged them by a great deal. Samsung isn't much different now. The S6 Edge isn't really cheaper and the difference in price between a 32GB and a 128GB model is abstronomic.
This is an interesting article that does a short comparison of the two phones, prices (in British pounds) included:
