Nintendo is known for their quality with Nintendo games, i.e. Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, etc. Games like Bloodborne, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Destiny, etc. would never work in their hands because they're not known for stepping out of their comfort zone very often. Once in a while, they do and they get it right, but most of the time it doesn't end well for them. I can't see myself playing only Nintendo games, hence why only Nintendo IP's should stay with Nintendo, while the Non-Nintendo Quality IP's go elsewhere. Just my opinion. 

Lets agree to disagree. God Of War is a one of a kind hack n slash game that not only excels at combat but also at level design, graphics and story. From what you said aboyut God Of War, doesn't really look like you love it when its not even in your top 5 in its own genre.

Same here, God Of War is the best hack n slash series. There's a reason why it is the best-selling in its genre and has so many hardcore fans.

It has a lot of better competition in a genre full of exellent franchises. Doesn't mean it's bad, doesn't mean it isn't great, it's definitely Playstation's best franchise, but it's not hack'n'slash's best franchise by a mile. It's weakest point though is its combat. It's hack'n'slash for babies. Nothing wrong with that because GoW isn't trying to have the best combat in the genre, but is definitely does not "excel in combat." What it excels in is presentation and spectacle.

I believe it does excel in combat. Its got slow, methodical combat that is easy to learn but hard to master, which is apparent at higher difficulty levels. Also, please don't discount its fantastic level design, probably my favourite in the industry. And its story is really moving.

I do think I went a bit overboard with what I said about Bayonetta and DMC, I like both of them, but no nearly as much as God Of War. God Of War really gets me ina way which no other game does, I don't know exactly how, it just does. So I can get really defensive about it sometimes lol.

Also, great to see someone else who thinks its PlayStation's best franchise and another hack n slash lover :)
