Forums - Gaming Discussion - Ever forgotten you bought a game?

I have... I forgot I had bought Guild Wars 2 and only recently remembered it. I had felt like playing a MMO and even installed 1 or 2 before i finally remembered "wait, I have GW2.. no need to pay for anything and it's not f2p/p2w".

Yes. I have a tendency to buy games in advance on Amazon and then months later they appear at my doorstep.

I'm more of the "I thought I had bought that game" type.

Yeah, I bought the special edition of Sacred 2 on pc because I found it for 15 quid at GAME and a few months later I bought the special edition of Scared 2 on ps3, because, again, it was on offer.

I feel like an idiot because I never got around playing the game, the special edition did not have anything that special, and it now takes space so need to get rid of it.

I bought Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen expansion, started playing the game again (or carried on where I left off), continued on in the story and never played the expansion part, just forgot about it. Not quite the same as an entire game but still...

Hmm, pie.

When I was young and wild after a night of heavy drinking and blackout I would wake up next to a crappy game I bought..

Yes, more than once. I have duplicate copies of a couple games thanks to that.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

I used to buy DLC and never play it. Did that quite a bit, actually.
