Forums - General Discussion - Do you attend church weekly? Yearly?

I haven't been to church in 2 years. My mother use to make me and my sister go every week when I was a child. but she stopped making us go because we bitched about it every week.

^OK, that would do it! LOL! But if you ever decide to believe in God at some point, do check out lifechurch.tv. Great place, seriously. I won't knock you or what you believe. I am glad that you believe something though, God or no God. But just wondering... and you don't have to answer, but do you follow any traditional moral code?

Do I follow any traditional moral code? I don't really understand what you're asking.

I don't really think I'm going to be changing my views anytime soon. All of my main influencies (the majority of my friends, my family, and my teachers) are all athiest. And you know, athiests have Charles Darwin, Christians have Kent Hovind (I kid, I kid).

^^ You do know Darwin was a christian ??? Then again Jesus was a jew so...

I was simply asking about the views on what is wrong/right for you. I wasn't trying to slide an attack against you or get you to change your views at all. I was just curious if you followed any type of traditional moral/ethical code. Things like sex before/outside of marriage, curse words, other things that people like to criticize the "stick in the mud" people for. Just curious.

Haha, me go to church, I'm pretty much a satanist, I'm not, but a lot of people think I am.

I don't think so, cuz I don't know you.

Oh, sorry. I kind of read it as "Oh, you're an athiest how cute! I wonder how long that'll last..." Sorry, if I misread it (and it appears that I did).

Anyway, my believes:

 - Sex wherever, whenever just use protection if you're not wanting children/it's not a regular partner.
 - Curse words they're just words that society deems as unnaccepable, and people should be allowed to use them
just like anyword. As they are just that, words.
 - Abortion, let it be
 - Censorship - I agree to protecting younger children, however content should never be altered, and nothing should
ever be banned from the public.

I can't really think of anything else that you ask of. What about yourself? How do you feel on these particular issues.

The way I see it is, church is like a rodeo. Some people like to go, some people don't.

Not for worship, but for school ceremonies
