1. RE2. My first RE. Beat the game to death.
2. RE remake. Good graphics for its time.
3. RE4. Even though it changed the gameplay, it kept the tense and horror.
4. RE5. Similar toRE4 but much less scary.


20. RE6. Complete dissapointment. Couldnt force myself to finish it.

Only played 2 (I'm lost in it XD) and Revelations (PS3). Something I found odd was I felt the 3DS demo of Revelations was scarier than the PS3 one. I think maybe the camera was smoother and so it killed a lot of the scares? o.o idk it just felt weird to me that the PS3 ver. felt less scary than the 3DS ver.

RE games are not really scary (well, it did made me anxious back when I was a kid XP), but those Regenerators in RE4 up close were quite disturbing, lol, I wanted to kill'em with knife attacks but I would get so anxious when they were close to me XD

You should play RE4 someday, it's a really great game.

I've seen it for GC and Wii but both are over priced around here v.v is there a PS3 version?

Yes there is a HD version to the PS3. It's actually on sale right now with the PS 20th anniversary sale on PSN.

Damn I just spent all of my money preordering Mario Maker XD I'll have to wait sadly

It's ok, RE games on PSN actually get on sales very often, lol.

Is RE6 bad? I know a lot hate it XD

It's not bad, it's the worse I've played though.

It has a good point that is you play the story by 4 different views, in 4 different campaigns. RE4 also has a it at a smaller scale with a second side of the story you originally play.

RE6 fails to do zombie horror as the PS1 games did, fails to have such a good and heavy atmosphere as RE4 had and fails to be as good as an action game as RE5 was, it kinda tries everything there, it's decent, it was actually fun to play with a friend that was also a RE fan, but it's definitely least enjoyable experience I had with the franchise.

You may have missed the last thing I added with a edit to the post you just quoted, so here: 
"I could play RE4 and 5 several times and don't get bored at all, but once I've beaten RE6 (all 4 campaigns) I didn't felt any real excitement to go back to it, even though as I did."

You may want to try 5 before 6 as well.
4 you play as Leon, 5 as Chris, 6 you play as both in 2 of the campaigns.
5 It's also a really fun action game.

I never hear much about 5. Glad to hear its pretty good!

Not a fan of any.

They all have awkward controls, bad cameras, aiming and so on. This seems to be the only reason there's any tension or difficulty. With most computer games I'm controlling someone who's physically capable. Normally better than me in real life.

If a random normal person teleported, tron style, into a resident evil game they'd kick ass.

Every other "RE" isn't really a Resident Evil game, so they can fuck off lol. RE4 was a great game, but it should have been a new IP.
