Anyway my top 5 as of now is (going by the one game per franchise rule):

1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
2. Xenoblade Chronicles
3. Donkey Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
4. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
5. Mario Kart 8

That was a very difficult list to make. It will likely be revised some time in the future.

I almost tempted to put NES Ice Hockey at number 1... I swear just get your best friend and fire up that game... Best two player game ever and I'm not even a hockey fan.

I was a little tipsy and was making a NES list first.  You might wonder why I put Super Mario Bros. 3 at number 5 instead of Ice Hockey though.  The bottom list is a list of games that I had the most found memories.  So SMB3 trumps Ice Hockey considering I played it more when I was little (with my sister and friends).  However, Ice Hockey has jumped ahead of my most recent memories considering I play it more than SMB3 but overall I've played SMB3 more.  The logic isn't too sound in my decision.
