MGS V sold well, probably didn't outsell The Witcher 3 and Batman cause it didn't have as much hype and there were some doubts about its quality due to the Kojima Konami fight. Also it has microtransactions. It will probably have good legs though.

Mad Max released at the wrong time. Gears Of War UE and Until Dawn would have sold better in a quieter time like June or July. Same with Tearaway, which will likely not sell well.

When two of those platforms consist of less than 10k sales, 170k sales for four platforms is very impressive. Also its the franchise's highest debut in the UK, which is very impressive.

Its not very impressive. The Witcher 3 outsold it and the Witcher series is not as popular as Metal Gear.

Why isn't it impressive just cause The Witcher 3 outsold it? Its still the best FW sales for MGS in UK, that is impressive no matter how you slice it.

I can't see them being pleased with such low X1 sales. They failed to market their product to Xbox audience so I don't think there's that much to celebrate here.
