PlayStation 4 has sold one million units in Middle East, according to a press event held by Sony earlier. PlayStation 4 came out in 2013 and since then saw significant growth in sales in the region.

Sony has sold over 25 million units worldwide since release, and the number keeps growing with each month. Same is the case in the Middle East, as growth is exceeding expectations.

Robert Fisser, General Manager SCE MENA, thanked fans for their support and love for PlayStation. Fisser said that the company is ready to sell another million units, they already have the stock ready.

On the other hand, we don’t know how well Xbox One is doing as Microsoft hasn’t shared any information regarding Middle Eastern sales.

Sony is doing well across the board so far, but we can’t rule out Xbox One by any means. Microsoft is catching up and thanks to Phil Spencer, they are more focused on games rather than Tv and other multimedia features of the console.

I was thinking the same, the gap continues to widen..

In the same time frame 5million Ferrari/Lambos were sold in the middle east I bet haha.

I wonder how many of those million were the gold plated edition,
