Lol, do people really buy Sony phones? I don't think I have seen one, like ever.

Imo sony makes the best phones on the market right now. Just don't upgrade to every iteration as they are basically releasing every half year now with only minor improvements. Your still fine getting one every 2 years or so.

To bad they are still running on Android. If they were running on the Vita OS and had apps tied to PlayStation Store and PlayStation Network then people might give a crap. As it stands now, no matter how good the devices are, they are just me too android devces lost in the shuffle.

Sony needs to merge their mobile division with PlayStation and make innovative mobile devices, that actually stand out. A real PlayStation Phone with access to PlayStation Network and software from SCEWWS, EA, Activision, Take-Two, etc. would be an industry changer. Offering the device in a Vita like form factor.

Yeah, because running on the vita os has done wonders for the vita.

I'm certainly looking into the Z5 for my next phone. The combination of water resistance, a great camera, and huge battery life is hard to ignore. The fact that it looks great, and they haven't dumped micro sd don't hurt either.

Not sure I'll go with the premium though, the regular Z5 should be perfect.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

The general public don't care for resolution, Apple and Samsung will always be the 1st and 2nd choices to many around the world. Which is the sad part about humanity, Sony, HTC and MS make great smartphones and are actually better equipped then the leading brands but will never take the market by storm because brand power overshadows quality. Same can be said for a lot of things.

God, I love Sony's phone line (typing from a Z right now), but they've gotta slow the hell down. I was waiting on the Z4 to launch in the US and apparently the Z5 is out next month now. Either they've gotta catch up and stay caught up over here or they've gotta slow down before they cannibalize their own sales by turning fans off with literally 5 new lines of Z phone in two years.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

I personally don't care for the 4K, I'm probably going to get the regular Z5, but I'm wondering about the overheating problems the premium might have.

The Z3+ was the "Z4". At least in Japan it was.

Using the Z3 now, I have a Z3 compact, great phones, much better than my last motorola

While I agree that it's unlikely Sony will be taking the top spot from Samsung or Apple, I wouldn't say they'll always be the top 2. I'm sure Blackberry and Motorola thought they had things pretty well wrapped up at one point too.
