Forums - Sales Discussion - Is it me or do some of the preorder charts look out of whack a bit?

I've been watching the preorder charts for some long long longgggg time now and so I have a random question. Doesn't the current charts a bit high on certain things and a bit low? I ask because looking at certain games such as Tales of Zesteria (PS$) it is vastly outpacing all previous tales games. And it's not even close to release.  I know not to regard these numbers too highly as they are just estimates but I wanted to know others opinions on them.

VGC pre-order charts always look "out of whack".

The only thing on VGC that doesn't look out of whack is ioi's glorious avatar

The preorder charts are by far the least reliable information on VGC.

Blast processing is returning as a part of DX12.

What about now?

You will know instantly that something is wrong with the pre-order charts when Tales of Zesteria is getting as much pre-orders as COD or when it's getting more pre-orders than Halo 5.

I think pre-orders on VGChartz are completely wrong tbh.

The pre-order charts have never been too reliable, specially for Japanese games like Tales of Zesteria! I don't even want to know what ioi does when he comes up with some of those  numbers!

Somehow when I read that it sounds like the real problem is with gamers and not with the charts.

Somehow when I read this it sounded as if someone actually believes the charts.
