I would say overall the sales history is proving it this gen. Thusfar MS has been content to focus on the time that "really matters" (Phil Spencer's words) and enjoy their Q4 victories in the US. However, the rest of the year - and for that matter the rest of the planet - still counts towards overall sales and that is where Sony's philosophy of spreading things out continues to keep them in the driver seat. I think, based solely on lineup, MS is gonna win the US in Q4 again. Doesn't mean they get a worldwide win, or even that the close the gap completely in the US as it stands now. |
Yea but if I say "prooves it" then some will argue against it and I dont want to argue about that anymore. So "points to it" its good for now.
I would agree where this any other year that MS will clearly winn the hllidays, but the multyplats this year are kind of strong. I think they might overshadow anything else, specially starswars wich has PS marketing. Plus sony has been sitting on that pricecut for a while, it could have a big impact if they drop the price to even just $50. Add to that any holliday bundle and I dont think the exclusives alone will win it that easy for MS. At the very least the ap will be smaller by wich the ps4 lost last year.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
