I didn't know TLOU had multiplayer.

Really quite good, from what I heard, but I've not played it so can't confirm nor deny.

Sounds like there is plenty of dispute as to whether or not the DLC weapons are over-powered. If they are, in fact, only side-grades, then I'm perfectly okay with that, just as I am with cosmetic DLC. As long as it's not a system where noobs are owning veterans simply because they dropped some dollars, then I don't see a problem.

The thing is, unlike many people on gaming forums, I want developers to make lots of money, especially good developers. I want them to have so much money that they can make the best games they can imagine. As long as the product is a good value and the original content is not being damaged by additional content, I bloody WANT rich kids to buy all the digital hats and cool looking skins as they can get away with. That is good for the industry and it's good for the people, like me, who don't give a rat's plush posterior about that kind of thing.

As far as Season Passes go, I think they're kind of dumb. I'm not going to buy DLC sight-unseen. But those who are willing to do that? More power to them. They would not continue to be a thing if people did not buy them--and as long as people buy them, I cannot fault the gaming industry for making them. All I would ask is that the content total is specified before hand. If the Season Pass is billed as "4 major DLC packs and 4 minor DLC packs" then they can make all the DLC they want afterward as long as those initial requirements are fulfilled. If they fail to meet the advertised terms, people have a right to be mad; if they do meet the terms but a consumer gets mad because they didn't understand the terms, that's the consumer's own fault.

That's basically my take on DLC. If it's good, I'll buy it. If it's mediocre, I'll ignore it. If it doesn't hurt me, I hope they sell a ton of it, even if it's day-glo penis hats.

Sounds great but I really don't like MP. Too bussy with all the non gamez on my ps4 and tbh I need those $60 to buy more game(s).

If it were on PC, I would've played it, certainly.  But, I'm just not a fan of how little control I have over console MP.

Well they know they can get away with it because in the end of they day people buy their games for the single player. Battlefield 4s singleplayer sure wasnt that hot

I am fine with DLC whether their shitty or not but microtransactions should belong in crappy pay2win games ...

P2W is disgusting if there's no way to grind your way to get the same thing without having to pay. All the superficial paid crap is irrelevant.
