Pick a FF lol. Seems like there isn't one game in that franchise that is universally loved.

SS is to 3D Zelda what Zelda 2 is to 2D Zelda. It's the black sheep.
Not most divisive, but just to bring something new to the table:
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Just yesterday I was playing this on Steam and one of my friends messaged me saying "Go and play one of the good Command & Conquer games!" When I asked him what was wrong with it, he just said "it's not as good as the others".
Well nice objective analysis there. The land, sea & air combat I always remember is still there. The campy, ridiculous time-travel storyline is still there with live action cutscenes. The skirmish mode with tonnes of possibilities is still there. And it's enhanced by some great new stuff like fully co-op campaign and dual abilities for every single unit in the game.
Yet for some reason it gets a lot of flak and I have no idea why. If you want to see a bad Command & Conquer game, look no further than C&C3 (disclaimer: I haven't played 4 yet. Because 3 was so bad).
Deadly Premonition? anyone?

Final Fantasy VI and IX seem to be loved by at least 80% of those who played them!

Dark Souls is also extremely divisive game from many different angles.
It's the best ever or the most overrated.
As a gamer you are classified as a whiny casual or a true hardcore.
Dark Souls difficulty is overrated
Story is only shit because you did not understand it.
Only pure melee is true souls experience, magic is easy-mode.
1-handing is for noobs, 2-hand for life.
Cheap enemies, traps, bosses -------> no they aren't, just git gud
Only scumbags heal in duels
This goes on and on....Even people who are on the same side are shitting each other over Dark Souls.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

No. The Wind Waker was divisive over 10 years ago, nowadays it's pretty much loved by everyone. Skyward Sword was ridiculously divisive at launch, with pretty much 50% of people saying it was the worst Zelda game ever and the other 50% saying it was the best. That's as divisive as it gets, really. As always when it comes to the internet, the negative side is the one that became more vocal over time, but it's still quite a divisive game. When I look at Zelda fans, it really is always a case of Skyward Sword either being among their favorites or among their least favorites. |
Weakest 3D Zelda is loved by everyone in which world? Because on planeth earth is almost always behind every other 3D Zelda title.
