And GTA V alone, outsold every single thing that Square Enix put out last generation.
Sales wise, Square isn't dominating anything this generation. Although I expect KH3, FF XV, FV VII Remake, and Tomb Raider to pull in big numbers.
As far as high quality, making amazing games is concerned.
They've definitely got the odds in their favor.

And Red Dead.
OT I want Tomb Raider, but that's about it. But it does seem SE's diversity of line up does mean at least one game will be on most console gamer's A list of games to buy. I don't think I have an Acti-poop game on my A-list, but that might be becauase I don't know all the games Acti published. I definitely have 2 EA franchises (unfortunately) on my A-list because those buttholes bought Bioware, though better them owning Bioware than MS since at least that means DA and ME are on Playstation. I may get a NBA2K game, probably won't get Red Dead and definitely won't get GTA. Most of my most wanted games are Sony published.

There was also Star Ocean 4, Tomb Raider, Dragon Quest IX, Hitman Absolution, Deus Ex Human Revolution and Just Cause 2! |
And Crisis Core, FFXIV, Infinite Undiscovery, Nier, KH: Birth By Sleep, Tactics Ogre remake, Sleeping Dogs .....
For me. I'm interested in Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy's XV & VII, Kingdom Hearts 3,
And that's it.
Edit: Actually, there's also Bravely Second for the 3DS. Since I just bought and beat Bravely Default, which I thought was alright, I'll get Second to see how they both compare.
But, since it's on a handheld, and this thread is primarily about games they're making for consoles, I didn't think about bringing it up before.
And that's really it.

In quality? Definitely possible. They have a great lineup of upcoming games. Of the 11 games in the OP, I'm interested in 8 of them.
In sales? Nope. Publishers like Activision and EA have yearly franchises that will consistently generate them tons of sales.
Square Enix is definitely the most exciting publisher as far as I'm concerned but when time goes on I don't think they will have increased their overall output quality ...
They will have only returned to their peak which was before the start of 7th generation ...
They haven't even released any of those games yet.
SOrry, but it will take a lot of time before SE can be trusted. I find it amusing that people can be burned over and over again yet still run back to them as if it were okay.
I hope the games released will be great, but I am not too optimistic (would love to be proven wrong).
