I took a look at the best sellers for the Uk and it looks like X1 might win this month due to the fifa bundle.

Have you got a link to the monthly numbers? I can only find the hourly numbers.  I'll also add that it doesn't work with the UK Amazon for some reason.

It took me a while to find it if i find it again ill link it to u m8. I also found this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-Sellers-PC-Video-Games-Consoles/zgbs/videogames/676171011

Might want to look at the overall Bestsellers to get a much more realistic picture.

#16 - XBO Fifa
#17 - PS4 Fifa
#53 - PS4 Destiny
#54 - XBO
#71 - PS4 1TB
#77 - PS4

Can't wait to see the sales figures for this holiday season. Sony being a lot more competitive this time and with both sides pushing quite the number of bundles, should make for an entertaining sales battle.

Yeah, the UK Amazon doesn't work as well as the US version but I'd say having a 4/2 console ratio could suggest a PS4 win this month in the UK. Perhaps we should also track the UK Amazon and check if there's a pattern.

Oh, and here's UK's monthly.  http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/2015-09/videogames/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsar

#18 - XBO Fifa
#30 - PS4
#41 - PS4 Fifa
#43 - PS4 1TB
#47 - XBO

Of course, I'm not sure the Amazon method works for the UK.  I do know the PS4 has won every month this year, so far.

Going to copy part of my comment from VizionEck:

FIFA 15 -> 16 Sales

PS4: 307,520 -> 422,550
XBO: 288,300 -> 338,040
360: 211,420 -> 122,070
PS3: 144,150 -> 56,340

Both the PS4 and XBO versions enjoyed YOY increases. However, the PS4 version's increase is greater than the latter's increase, whether we talk about unit sales or percent changes. This statistic may suggest that the PS4 sold more than the XBO.

In regards to Amazon, the reason why Amazon US has been a reliable predictor for the winning console is that buyer habits on Amazon are similar to those across other retailers. This may be less so in the UK because the other retailers in that market tend to offer a myriad of deals for both consoles. As a result, buyer habits on Amazon UK are likely not similar to those across other UK retailers.

So the top 100 is almost only PS4 with 5 bundles, just 1 XBO and really close to be out and no WiiU.

Wow. It's feeling like it's EU not US.

And it's been like this pretty much all week. I'm sure once the holiday buying starts, we'll see more Xbox consoles, but with halo 5 three weeks away, it's kind of odd were not seeing a bigger showing already.

Wonder if these recent bundles will make a difference soon in Xbox's charting?

This is what I meant by 'goodbye September, hello October'. It will take a huge effort and something special for MS to turn this ship around by any significant amount before Halo releases. If they manage to even things out I reckon it will take at least 2 weeks and even then it's likely the PS4 will lead overall. This leaves a deficit potentially too big for Halo to reverse, in October at least. We'll see, but IF the PS4 can lead for 3 weeks in October and Halo doesn't see extraordinary results, it's probably going to be another win for the PS4. And then Halo hits November and we all know what's coming in November: Bloodborne DLC, Black Ops, Star Wars to name a few and I very much doubt Sony won't add Fallout 4 to at least ONE of their bundles. I am really beginning to wonder if the PS4 could actually take Christmas overall.

I think it may also be worth keeping an eye on what the PS+ games are for October. And then of course there's the potential release date for No Man's Sky.

Oh, and this is going to be interesting to watch:

Well, MS announce of the bundles said "prices starting at $349" if I recall it right, so tomorrow or after we may see a XBO bundle actually being well received and ranking well, then we have Halo. But yeah, shouldn't Halo crazyness already be hitting?

Yes, it's odd (or perhaps telling?) When you look at Destiny, it was in the top 20 for most of last month and is still in the top 20 this month. Halo preorders are nowhere to be seen.

Does it generally takes Halo time to build hype pre-launch? There should be plenty by now, shouldn't it?

No idea. All I know is MS need to start throwing those marketing dolars around.

It was in the 600's last month when the listing for ps4 first went up. It was actually staying within a 100 or so spots of the Xbox one version for about a week or two, which is surprising considering how far off the ps4 version is lol
