Forums - Sony Discussion - Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence (REVIEW)

"Conclusion

If you've been patiently waiting for a deep and engaging PS4 strategy title, look no further than Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence. While it certainly doesn't do anything new to win over those who aren't fans of the genre, it does more than enough to sap away the hours of anyone who's willing to wrap their head around its complex workings. And although its move to consoles could have been better executed, you'll still struggle to find a more rewarding experience on Sony's latest machine."

I remember playing the heck out of the original Nobunaga's Ambition on the NES.  My freshman's college grades suffered because of it.

strategy games should be supported on consoles thats why i bought Bladestorm Nightmare edition

Will be grabbing this just not at the moment with its stupid price tag in the UK, Amazon have it at £54.88 and cheapest online I found so far is £46.75. Seems a bit of a joke to me when games such as MGS V, Halo 5 and Fallout 4 are easy to grab for £36.

I played the game(Nobu 14) 2 years ago(December 2013) when it was first released and the expansion pack(power up kit) last year. The game was okay. Still I liked the Nobu 12 the most. 13 and 14 are missing something important while they definelty have some aspect improved.

Two thing KOEI did I dont get:
1st: they fking release Nobu12(a 10 years old game) on steam with a price of $55, Nobu13(a 6 years old game) on steam with a price of $55 as well and Nobu14(a 2 years old game) on steam with a price of $60. Like what the actual fk?! Really?! Koei, are you for realllll???
2nd: They rename Nobu14 from original name of SouZou(creation) to what? Sphere of Influence? why?! Any perticular meaningful reason??

BTW i am hyped again. Because KOEI is about to release sangokushi 13 this year. Hope they dont mess it up again.

My friend and I would play it until like midnight, it was so bloody addictive and competitive.  I still remember the horror of my guy dying of old age.

I really want this game.

Wow that looks cool. I loved the Kessen series as a kid and was always bummed there was nothing similar on consoles, but this seems to fit that description.

Exactly, Price it right and it would fly off the shelves instead of poeple seeing the price tag and laughing.
