People shouldn't monetize let's plays in the first place.

But yeah, the problem is easily fixed by lowering the volume of the game, I'm surprised Projared doesn't know that. This is as much Youtube's fault as it is Nintendo really. They definitely need to rework the detection program/bot they're using.

Nintendo has given free Super Mario Maker download codes to let's play channels, so they're obviously not against it.

To think a multi-billion dollar company can be this petty. Do they realise benefits of someone playing their games on youtube far outweighs the detriments?

Nobody bat an eye when Sony & Activision did the same to the jimquisition though (on a non-let's play, non-monetized video).

Honestly I can't see the benefit to LPing the game at this point in time. I mean first off it's a level creator so you "create the game" in a sense. Secondly while there will be plenty of levels to choose from online, the game hasn't launched officially so there can't be that much to choose from to really create a sensible LP in my opinion.

All in all, this shouldn't come as a surprise. We already knew Nintendo's Youtube policies and the game isn't even out yet so someone was bound to be caught.
