Forums - Sony Discussion - PS4 System Software 3.00 Features Detailed, Beta Starts Today

Megaton update.

Around the Network

The 10GB increase size for the cloud storage is great news for me. I'm nearly running out of space.

Well here are the new relevant features which people wanted and cryed about. Unfortainly BC for PS1 and PS2 is not in the list because people think more cloud storage is more important.,..

I still want my PS2 classics to work on my PS4. Hell, while they are at it go ahead and let me play my Vita games natively on my PS4.

Stills needs folders AND friend notifications when they come online.

These seem very specific examples of 'events'. I wonder if Sony has something already lined up?

sounds like ff14

Eh....they are really trying to push the community thing, wish could be cool, but Im dieing for the small quality of life updates: Folders, notifications when (specific) friends go online, pinning apps, the ability to go 'offline'

I would take those over this community stuff any day.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Nothing major but its still a really nice update for ps4 owners like youtube.

Completely agree but it makes sense why they'd do this update now. They have the marketing rights to three of the biggest mainstrem games this holiday (Destiny, Call of Duty and Battlefront) and it makes sense to add community/sharing features for big games like those.

Hopefully we'll get some, if not most, of the stuff you listed in the next big update.
