Hello VGChartz!
It's been a wild summer on the site. Thank you for your patience through some technical issues and some slower-than-expected updates. This site wouldn't be nearly as fun, informative, and animated if it wasn't for the community - in my opinion the best video game community on the interwebs. We couldn't do it without you. So thank you.
Enough with the mushy stuff. Here are some updates:
With Smeags' reign of terror at an end, axumblade and I decided to stick with the three-person mod team. We feel that it allows us more coverage and it provides a system of check and balances. To that end, we recruited Carl2291. Carl has been an excellent member and mod, and we're proud to have him on the head mod team. Please join me in congratulating him.
Also, some sad news: Tachikoma and Shinobi-san have stepped down from their moderator positions. Over the last few months, both Tachi and Shinobi have been forceful and effective leaders - on the site and among the mod team. Please join me in thanking both of them for their service to VGChartz.
As we move into September the mod team will redouble its efforts to improve the site. We will continue to work closely with the site admins and our fellow members to keep VGChartz thriving and welcoming. If you have any questions, concerns, or recommendations, please let us know - here and via PM. We promise to take all of your issues seriously.
