Using your moderation history as proof for low trolling activity is a poor excuse. Take me, for example. I've been caught maybe ten times in eight years, but my daily average of troll posts hovers around ten.

Is this true ?

RolStoppable said:

It's an estimate.

Then it's not an accurate one either ...

@fatslob

I am not saying anything, but you can always trust Rols words to be true. He is an honest fellow and usually pretty factual.

I trust Rol but as far as an "honest fellow" goes I only see that when he thinks it's necessary ...

I take it, you have better numbers?

No I don't but how exactly is your estimate any accurate ?

Even though your the only source would the mods classify the large portion of your posts to have malicious intent ?

It's like you said, the "intent" counts when trolling and it certainly might be harder when your stealthing around but it's pretty clear that your still not showing a whole lot of it ...

To think you would call yourself this "master troll" ...

With all due respect I think some of the permabanned users are better at it than you are ...

Brilliant logic, man. The killers who got punished with the death penalty are better than the serial murder who still runs free.

Yes, trolls are certainly comparable with serial killers ... /sarcasm

RolStoppable said:

I think you got the point. I mean, how could you not?

As far as accomplishments go for a "usual suspect", you are not even comparable to a serial killer ...

More along the lines of an offender who gets small time fines ...

Guys like Zero999 or toastboy (this guy actually succeeded in getting me moderated), now THESE guys know how to actually cause a shit storm ...

Remember it's the quality of the trolling that counts, not the quantity ...

But as we saw with Dexter, serial killers live miserably till they are eventually caught or die.

Don't you agree that it's a whole lot more fun this way ?

I'm going slightly off-topic anyways so let's leave that for another day ...

Getting a rise out of people is easy when you don't care about penalties for yourself. Going down in flames while you take as many others as possible with you... yeah, that's not hard to do, especially when you fall back on alt accounts.

As for getting other people moderated via my troll posts, that has never been my goal. It's the kind of competition I voluntarily bow out of. I consider it dishonorable.

Do you know what the best indicator is that you are good at what you are doing? It's when other people say something along the lines of "This is probably the only guy on this forum who could get away with posting that."

That precisely why you want some balance but don't go deafening it down to the point where we don't feel insulted or relieved about it otherwise that just comes off as weak ...

If you don't put anything at stake how is it going to be any fun ?

If your not going to get hard proof of users getting moderated while they are riled up because of your posts then your a comedian, not a troll ...

The best indicator for been a troll here is stacking up moderations against other members and I'm sure many would see it the same way ...

Ofcourse.. I'm a senior on this site.. Our special privilege is that we can (stealth) troll all we want and are protected from moderation because of our senior status..
