You guys do get that part of the reason for the stream of remasters is to convert the games to x86 and prepare them for future gens (guaranteed bc) and game streaming. PS now is going to be doing ps4 games in the next 2 years and its drastically cheaper to build ps4 drone farms than ps3...

When a game flops financially you've got to do some sums and see if putting it on more platforms will be a net gain or loss. I assume porting the PC version to PS4bone and calling it a remaster (probably an easier option for PS4 than remastering the PS3 version) will be very cheap, and if they can squeeze out 100K sales across the two new gen consoles then they will be in positive territory.

I agree. I really liked this game and felt it got a bad rap. I don't know if it really needs a remaster but people should give the game a chance. I think they will be pleasently surprised.

My roommate is actually a huge fan of Deadpool, only owns a PS3, wanted this, and I told him it would never happen.

Where's my Duck Dynasty HD remaster?

I don't mind this even if I am surprised by it. My main issue is why on Earth would they price it at $50 when the last gen version is widely available for $15-20 range now. This is a port so not even like getting a frame rate or resolution bump to try and rationalize it.

Who on Earth asked for this? What is the market?

I can remember neither titles nor publishers, nor if they were just proposed or actually done or planned that I read about, but graphically pimped up but dumbed down remakes of old great games offend me a lot more than dumb remasters of titles that already were meh from the start.
