So your not actually getting a Physical Retail copy of the game but instead a Steam DRM CD Key. Well I hope they plastered "Online connection required" all over the box art or I could see some very angry customers and a few court cases.



Wow. So if you buy the physical version what you get is a link for the digital version? Isn't that false advertisement?

Guess you gotta read the small print on physical releases these days >_>

Id be mad as hell if I picked up one of these expecting the game in there but getting a Steam installer instead.



Waste of DVD, better to just sell a card with a scratch off code.

I buy lots of crap, and probably dont help the environment as much as i would like... but this is just a total waste of materials and resources... shocking if true. They shouldn't even bother if it's just a steam installer.

Selling serial keys in CD cases is common place by now. If they properly label the case it shouldn't be a legal issue.
