Forums - Nintendo Discussion - My fellow Nintendo fans, the tbone51 Bodyguard Project was a success - Now it's time for our next task: Project Mirai

Will only buy Mirai DX if ported to NX.

That is a super weird condition for buying a game coming out in a little over a week, especially compared to a console that people can only guess is probably coming around Holiday 2016 that people can still only infer details on.

Wouldn't it be more effective to run a Hatsune Miku awareness project first? You know. To make sure people know what the hell you, "guys", are talking about.

There's no reason to be condescending and call us "guys". We all are real men who buy games rated M for Miku.

Oh my! I never thought you would be the one taking the bait, given you are so experienced on these boards. I wasn't serious, it was just a mild troll.  I'm quite an anime fan myself (I know Miku originated from a voice synthesizer program, I know how to use google). With that said, I find this "campaing" very amusing. In a good way ;)

Can we get body guards for Ryng Tolu?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Sorry, waiting for Project Diva X next year for PS4.

Didn't know tbone was bodyguarded and this pervert game does not interest me. Most Japanese games do not interest me.

Except this isn't a pervert game. Hatsune Miku is a rhythm game centered around music created by vocaloids, that is to say, all voices are electronic. Miku was the first that started off the Hatsune Miku series, and it has slowly expanded to start including more vocaloids, both male and female. All songs performed have a performance from one of the characters that goes with, but all performances are very PG with ridiculously adorable chibi characters dancing along while singing to whatever the theme is for the particular song. At least, they are chibi for this particular entry to work with the limits of the 3DS hardware. Other games in the series feature the full character models in what is still a very PG presentation. Gameplay is a little bit different in each entry to adapt to whatever hardware the game is on, whether it be the PS3, PS4, Vita, 3DS, or even arcade.

The series is slowly gaining a more prominent western following that I recently became a part of because this series is a lot of fun. It's only eight years old (or it will be eight years old with the next entry, I dunno for sure), but it feels very original and fun. This particular entry is one I've really been enjoying, and I look forward to writing up the review on it. Hopefully I can help to expand the fan base for this deserving rhythm game series.

And trust me, I know my pervert games. I watch my share of ecchi anime, and have played some very suggestive games courtesy of localizations. If you want a good example of a perverted Japanese game, check out Dungeon Travelers 2 for the Vita. It's actually a very solid dungeon crawling experience with more than its fair share of half to mostly naked anime styled women.

Oh man tbone had to move to New Jersey?.... Poor guy.

Anyway I would have to recommend Senran Kagura in regards to a perverted game. Why dip our toes in the "Nintendo-fans-also-buy-perverted-games" pool when we can just cannonball in?

Sorry, Etrian Mystery Dungeon comes out that exact day in Europe. Two full priced games in a day are too much.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I rather have a Wiimote shoved down my throat by Gnac than buy that game.

Some of you "guys" don't seem to grasp how serious this issue is. We are in a war and we have to win it.

RolStoppable posted something on ryuzaki57's wall:

Is Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX on the easier side of rhythm games? In the demo version there aren't many sequences where you have to press both a button and a direction on the d-pad at the same time, even on hard mode. Is the rest of the songs like that too or did they just pick relatively easy songs for the demo?

Sorry I've never played Project Mirai actually ^^'>

Ah, I see. This is a case of not buying Project Mirai, so that Hatsune Miku can become a PlayStation-exclusive. Now I don't care about what Project Mirai is anymore. I'll buy it to spite you, that's a good enough reason.

wow, such violence... sorry but isn't it my freedom as a consumer not to buy a product I'm no interested in, without you having to scold me like that? Mirai is just a lesser version of what I already have so no, I do not reckon it's worth spending my money on it.

I do buy 3DS game when I want them. I've spent half my summer on Fire Emblem Fates.

Rol, are you feeling OK?  You're kinda scaring me with this whole Hatsune Miku war stuff.

He's just setting a goal and is having fun getting to it. I'm liking this. Most people just get too serious when they are being serious. Even with videogames. Just rol with it.
