He could send me a billion. Maybe that would take a bit of weight off his shoulders.
I would suffer with him.
That's just how good a person I am.

I don't feel for him.

Most people in our developed world get it easy. It's hard to feel for anyone, let alone a billionaire.

Not really, in a developed world the expectations and pressure are high for some and not succeeding feel like a life of failure. It can be hard for people who just want to have a simple life.

Can you pay your rent? Can you afford food? That's your simple life. Meeting others expectations can be tough. But there is an easy solution, don't give a fuck about what others think or want. Just surround yourself with friends and family memebers who love you for who you are. Support them when they start dreaming big and they will do the same in return if the simple life isn't doing for you anymore.

I am not saying depression isn't real. But alot of the times, it's self-inflicted. Some behavioural modifications and cognitive therapy can go a long way.

I am giving you sincere advice, don't let expectations of others pressure you.

He got everything he wanted so fast, he lost everything he really needs. I know it are all first-world problems, but I can understand his predicament.

Oh my! I almost started crying when I read those tweets! Poooor Notch.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’
