Your stating it as fact even though it's something you just dreamt up in your mind lol.

If the NX was just "Wii/DS in disguise", what would be wrong with that? You said that the hardcore market is really competitive, and with the PC market is competing closer and closer with consoles, that piece of the market is probably too expensive to try and recover. On the other hand, the full-casual market is even more oversaturated, and it's on its way to create a bubble that will burst in less than 20 years (my opinion).

During the 7th gen, the Wii and the DS appeared as something of a middle ground: at a reasonable price you got acceptable power with new and exciting features, and both platform had games for everyone. In the eyes of millions of consumers, they had the best of both worlds. If Nintendo can hit that equilibrium once again, working on Fusion systems like that will automatically double the input on their platforms (instead of working on two systems, it's just one with different specs), and that will solve one of the main problems Nintendo has had during this gen, their software output.

The problem for this plan are the casual market. Noone is going to make them buy a 200-300€ device that is mainly for games anymore when their mobile phones and tablets do what they want already. So if they have to choose between one side of the market, they'll choose core gamers.

I'm kinda all speculated out. I think I'll pick up the hype again next year. Until then I'm content waiting for XCX and playing Splatoon.

Nothing obvious about it, I thought it might be a quote from a credible source. Most other users have prediction in the title like this.

By not saying prediction it makes it sound like it's official from nintendo when it's not. Some might call it clickbait.

The key is the new idea lol. Why do people truly believe just because games already exist on your smart phone, you cant enjoy games anywhere else. There is no such thing as a casual market, i simply used it make explaining things alittle easier. What the Wii could do cannot be replicated on smartphones. Something that cant be copied by smartphones is what Ninty needs. The casual market being oversaturated is irrelevant simply because its also colossal. 

So you need to be told what a prediction is?
