It doesn't matter how you put it. Sony (PS4) has more exclusives the whole year 2015 or Q4 2015 than Nintendo (Wii U) and MS (Xbox One) combined. "Exclusives" that don't appear on any other plattform in any form. Like Fable Legends, Below, TR: Rising and Rodea the Sky Soldier. Or the Uncharted Collection and even Teraway Unfolded.

And why there should be handhelds included although it's clearly about stationary consoles only... well, only satan knows.

Why don't you make a list about these exclusives then?

Oh and according to your logic Persona 5 and Dragon Quest Heroes don't count.

Rodea the Sky Soldier is a Wii U only game btw, the Wii version is only included in the first print of the game and is completely different than the Wii U version.

Okay, honeybunch, only for you, i, the holder of the sacred and holiest secret manifest of manifests of console exclusives, will reveal to you the most secret list of lists... as soon as i am home from work. pinky promise.

but beware! you, and only you, are allowed to have a look at the list. anyone else who dares to direct their gaze upon it will suffer the consequences, utterly and brutaly.

Thought so, not many exclusives on the PS4 for the rest of the year. :)

uhm. didnt you understand what i wrote? is my english this bad? is your english this bad?

i am still at work. i am busy, i am typing on my cell, and my connection is as fast as a snail on valium.

That makes 17 PS4 exclusives 2015.

And 12+3 = 15 exclusive games on Wii U and Xbox One.

The Wii U version of Rodea The Sky Soldier is not as different to the 3DS version as you have implied. Otherwise Tearaway Unfolded is to be included too.

As for Q4 2015. It's actually not as easy to determine, since there are no specific release date for some games. However, "for the rest of the year"? If you say so...

Phew, lucky PS4. Got pretty close their in this 2 vs. 1 contest.

The discussion was about yet to be released games this year, but nice try moving the goalpost.

And you count super small digital only games for PS4, but games like Runbow, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Affordable Space Adventures and Rodea the Sky Soldier (the Wii version is different and only packaged with the first print of the Wii U version) are suspiciously missing from the Wii U list. Just like Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival Drawn to Death is a mere free to play game. Most of the games on your PS4 list don't even have wiki pages. These games are the niche games of niche games. And that's exactly why people consider the PS4 line-up for the rest of the year sparse. I couldn't even find any sort of reliable information on that Hot Shots Golf game you mentioned.

As for your "the rest of the year" list, Super Mario Maker is missing which by itself well outsell every upcoming 2015 PS4 exclusive combined. It's kind of big, so you might want to add it. ;) It's also missing Fatal Frame V, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Yoshi's Woolly World (US only) and Devil's Third (US only).

Exacly.  Does anyone remember the Fall of 2008 on PS3?  There was Resistance 2, LBP, Valkaria Chronicles, and SOCOM.  But it didn't matter because FC2, Dead Space, FO3, Mirrors Edge, and Bioshock also came out and destroyed sales.

They learned from their mistakes, and they are preventing a gaming drought in 2016 for PS4 gamers.

I think today, exclusivities don't matter as much as they use to. Third party games rules the market right now. Halo, Mario and Pokemon are probably the last two frist party franchise that are in the same category.
That's why I don't get that people say it doesn't matter if Nintendo has lost the support of third parties. That is just crazy

I mean this has been an obvious trend for the past few generations.  Honestly though I don't see it being that different this gen from last - the only difference is that competition isn't as fierce.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

I really think X1 can get better sales than PS4 in the US this holidays. Unless PS4 drops it price and i don't know which game they really bundle it this holidays.

I'm more than confident that the XB1 will outsell the PS4 during the holidays. Halo is an overrated game, and as such, will sell blockbusters and drive a large number of people to upgrade.

Whos is shifting here? Originally it was about Oct - Dec.

O pardon me, that i wasn't thorough. Now it's obvious that Sony never stood a chance against the combined pool of WIIU/X1 exclusives. I explained to you why Rodea isn't on the list. But if you insist, then you shall have Tearaway Unfolded on the list too.

"These games are the niche games of niche games. And that's exactly why people consider the PS4 line-up for the rest of the year sparse."

Yes, you're shifting goal posts. Trying to relativize the numbers. Ok, i can do that too. Super Mario Maker kinda big? For Nintendofanatics, certainly. However, how a level editor comprised of elements of past games, is considered a game of its own, let alone a good game, is beyond understanding. And Housemarques Alienation and Disgaea are niche of niche? Wow, you're shifting out of control here.

"It's also missing Fatal Frame V, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Yoshi's Woolly World (US only) and Devil's Third (US only)."

Last two are available in Europe. So why... o yes, right. Wii U is region locked.

Nintendo is ridiculous.

Hunting Season is done...

Super Mario Maker not big or a game of its own? It will outsell every Sony exclusive this year combined.

Man you guys all argue so much about what is and isn't a game that I wonder if you actually ever play any...

The big games of Q4 are not exclusive (with perhaps the exception of Halo). They are the same big games as were big last year, and the year before. FIFA, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed etc.

Exclusives are nowhere near as relevant as they used to be and to be quite blunt, this generations sales confirm that. People just want a machine where they can play all their mainstay 3rd party franchises.

Being the best place for the big name 3rd party titles is the system that will sell the best too the mass market. Exclusives are the coin toss for the undecided.

Exclusives have their place, and are great, but there hasn't been an exclusive since Wii Sports and Wii Fit that really drove the market in a particular direction and a big factor in them causing impulse buys was a very cheap cost of entry.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Take a look at the sales of 3DS and Vita...
