No, it is not the main reason. Fifa 15 got put on the freaking Wii and 3DS, but skipped Wii U.

CoD AW got put on 360 and PS3, which are both weaker than Wii U.

Dragon Age: Inquisition, same deal with CoD AW.

Pretty much every third party game that I'm going to name it will be the exact same thing. They were put on the 360 and PS3, therefore, power is 0% of why those games weren't on the Wii U.

Power however IS the reason games like Star Wars Battlefront is not getting put on it.

SO, the reason third parties don't put their games on the Wii U is because they are too lazy to develop something for the Gamepad (which technically they don't have to) and because it won't sell a ton. It'll sell enough to pay for the costs of the port and still earn profit... 

Even if they lost money, the profits coming from other platforms would obviously cover it.

I'm curious about how the three modes of power will work.
I figure the lowest power mode is just airplane mode, but the second lowest power mode is interesting.
Perhaps it will limit the processing power of the device in order to conserve energy?
