So throughout the year, I've been looking back to many of my old games. Whether out of boredom or finding it in a corner where I thought it was lost, a lot of old games I played still held up really good to me.
For instance, I lost my Picross 3D game a loooooooong time ago. Then I was thinking about buying a game for my friend at Best Buy and still saw that they still sell Picross 3D for just $15. I snagged two of them and immediately played it with my nostalgic glasses. The game is sooooooooo fun and addictive just as I remembered years ago and I always get a kick out of puzzle games. Kept me up playing for many months 100% the game again. Too bad the WiFi is down. :<
I also found my Elite Beat Agents cartridge when I thought I lost it years ago, just sitting in a corner of my closet just two weeks ago. I 100% that game too again and I can't believe how much fun I had with it. As a musician, I appreciate the challenge it puts up with my rhythmic and syncopation skills and the humor and style of the game is GREAT (though really cringeworthy). Would seriously recommend it to anyone that gets a kick out of rhythm games.
I also went over to my friend's house I haven't seen in years and I stayed over for a couple days a month ago. And I remember we used to play Super Mario Sunshine soooo much without a memory cards because we were stupid to never get a memory card ever. But we both played it together beating up to Mission 7 all the way to Noki Bay until I had to leave. Man, was Sunshine REALLY fun from what I re-experienced with the unique design and mechanics of the game (still doesn't beat Galaxy 2 but pretty close).
But yeah, you guys have any similar experiences?
