Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I have no need to buy another game for the rest of the year.

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure no one is anywhere near as addicted to Splatoon as you are.

The "look forward to new weapons/gear almost as much as new games" part was particularly concerning.

I just ment on this site as of course I already know plenty of people who've played the game twice as much as I have.

Err, why?

Just Pre Ordered Yoshi. Currently level 12 in Splatoon. I played a bit this week as my PC was out of commission as I was awaiting new parts.

Despite the modes they have added, the only one I like is the original turf war. So Splatoon right now is a game I can play 45-60 minutes of once or twice a week, otherwise I get bored.

I don't have Splatoon.

I'm weeding through my WiiU backlog right now.

I'm getting Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade X later this year.

However, I have a VERY good feeling Splatoon will be under the Christmas tree this year :D

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I love Splatoon. But I need to take breaks from it or I'll snap during frustrating Ranked Match runs. I break it up with other games but I always end up back on Splatoon. I'm due to start again here sometime soon.

I felt this way with the original Maple Story. Felt like it was the only thing I needed to play for the rest of my life.... and then Big Bang came... 😒

I use to love that game but the whole pay to win structure drove me away.

I played League of Legends for free for 2 years and bought about 6 games. I could just quit console gaming altogether and just play League of Legends and not pay a dime. But sometimes i just need the satisfaction of buying something and owning the physical copy. Of course then I actually play the game and have fun.

Why don't you like the other modes?

They just don't click with me. There is a bit more of a focus on killing other players in the other modes to gain an advantage, and that is the part of the game I enjoy the least.

I got bored of splatoon very quick.
