My dad once said he never could beat World 1-1 in Super Mario Bros. (NES) back when it came out and never bothered with video games again. My mom though actually beat Sonic 2 when I was little. She never gamed much after that though.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

My dad wasn't much of a videogame fan. However, my mom only liked Pac Man, specifically Ms. Pac Man.

Dad:

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (ps2)

Gran Turismo 3 and 4

My mom loves Zelda.

My mother hates video games in general. Also, and sadly, she can't see very well.

My father however used to have a Super Nintendo with Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2, a Jurassic Park game and a SimCity entry.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

My mom has never touched a videogame in her life, AFAIK, and my dad regularly rants about how much of a waste of time they are. Actually the very idea of my parents playing any sort of videogames is so ludicrous that I can't help laughing at the thought, and it honestly kinda wierds me out that other people's parents actually play games. Its just so alien to me. I can't even imagine what that would be like.

I'm 36 so my parents were like, gaming in the arcades lol. My dad's favorite game was Missile Command. My mother's favorite game was Pac-Man, I believe.

My dad and I used to compete at playing StarFox Adventures to see who could beat it faster, but I don't think he ever finished it. I remember one time coming home and finding out he got off work early and he got way ahead of me. Spent the rest of the night trying to get further than him. He also played Link to the Past when I got it on Wii VC, a game I STILL haven't beaten (yet).

As for my mom, we used to compete in Tetris and that space pinball game that came with Windows.

Together, they used to play Mario Kart Wii and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue.

Before me, they also had a SNES, so I'm sure they played a bunch of games on there that I don't know about.
