No Toad? No buy. Heck I'd buy Smash if they added bayonetta. But Shovel Knight? I'll pass.

Well it would be about time they gave us the results to the fighter ballot.

I think a more venerable indie icon like Shantae would be better. However, I really liked Shovel Knight and he would certainly be a good fit so I won't complain if he's in.

I hope its true. This would definitely put Yacht Game on the map.

So first Shantae rumors, then Professor Layton rumors, now Shovel Knight.

This is getting out of hand. Soon enough 50% of the roster will be third party characters and at that point, in my opinion, it will no longer feel like Smash. It may take the next game or the game after that but we're seeing a shift now that I find trouble.

I hope this isn't true. I think Shovel Knight would be pretty lame.

not my favorite, other characters are more deserving, but he'd still make a fun character.

Also seems like a great way to improve reputation with indie devs and put Shovel knight on the map for a large audience
