We do not know and its not likely the NX is a handheld.

Also I'm not sure Pokemon Z is a thing. I'd more likely believe a Pokemon X2/Y2 was coming instead since B2/W2 sold pretty well.

Right, but at the same time where is the 3DS successor? Will Nintendo really go another holiday (after this coming one) in Japan without a new handheld? I can't see it personally... I guess I'm along the lines of believing there will be 2 Nintendo devices and they will share 90% of their library, I think pokemon will be a shared title. We will have to wait and see.

I think this is one possibility, but Nintendo has been treating it as a home console from interviews and the latest patent which is likely to be the NX. I'm not trying to bash you or the idea that its a handheld I just think taking in everything into consideration its probably not primarily a handheld :)

They also said "Flowers" is confirmed for the next game (lol is AZ Floette) , so I would think it is Pokémon Z .

I just hope they make a decent story and please make Zinnia the Rival/Champion :P

Also, since on Europe Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is (sadly) planned on early 2016, that would mean at least 3 pokémons game in 2016.

All I'm saying is, a next Gen Pokemon on Wii U would at least bring the console to Gamecube sales...which I don't think it will reach in its current state.
