Sega has updated its Monday-launched ‘neXt39′ new title teaser website with a new message.
“The countdown will begin on August 28, 2015, 06:21 am,” the message reads.
If the site’s JavaScript file is to go by, said countdown will end on August 31.
The website is believed to be related to a new Hatsune Miku game project, which is known to be in development. “39” can be read as “Miku” in Japanese. And August 31, the date the countdown is supposed to end, is Hatsune Miku’s birthday.
To add more fuel to the fire, Nakanohito #1, a spokesperson for the Hatsune Miku franchise, recently tweeted something interesting.
“Hoho, so Sony Computer Entertainment will hold its conference on the 15th, eh? Hmmm,” Nakanohito #1 said in a tweet.
He added, “Oh, there must have been a reason [for that tweet].”
