Of course that's a factor. Still can't help but notice the connection.

Lol that is literally what it is isn't it? The best is when you see a long game like Bloodborne recieve a tonne of 0/10 user reviews just hours after the game has been released. Then of course the review itself is a laugh, as you watch this little Xbox fanboy labour away at coming up with negatives for a game they haven't played in order to satisfy the character count.
I will go to my grave never knowing how Xbox fanboys actually exist.

TurkishCritic comes to mind. Props to NiKKoM for reminding me about that!

Fighting his guerilla war in a long lost battle..with a heart of a true console warrior. Our hero.
But seriously, this why I don't read metacritic before playing a game myself.

PS4 owners have no time for that, they are too busy playing games
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
