Xbox One has the deluxe edition.


Definitive experience IMO.

Should i get the madden bundle for XBO. Looking to get and Xbox this year for halo and other games or should i wait for holiday deals?

Meh if there was real competition the PS4 would be $300 with a game right now.  However they don't have to because MS made a weaker console that costs more to make.

But if there was no competition PS4 would be 599 US Dollars! So... just be glad competition keeps prices relatively low and often include bundles.

Its only fair MS experience some failure. God knows Sony has been experiencing plenty.


No it wouldn't, the PS3 cost $600 because it cost $800 to make.  They won't ever make that mistake again.  However if there was no X1 the PS4 would likely have worse holiday bundles.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Well Madden and EA Access is a good deal if youre interested in those things.

They would also put less resources in games. There would be no incentive with no significant competition. They would just be more reliant on 3rd parties.

Actually, no need to thank me. Sony is doing this to counter similar things that MS did. But why did MS give free games in the first place? Because people like me bought PS4s instead of XBOnes, in great numbers.

So......praise Nintendo?

I don't think MS and Sony are making decisions based on what Nintendo is doing at the moment.

They make a lot of money off of their games, if there was no competition they simply wouldn't be in a rush to get them out fast - oh wait that's what they are doing now because they don't have any real competition anymore.

AMD hasn't screwed up so bad with their last line of Enthusiaste CPU's that they haven't even bother to release a new one for like 3 years now.  Menawhile Intel has updated their line completely every year and been rewarded with new buyers every year.   There is more money to be made if you continue to itterate and improve - regardless of the competition.

 

For Sony to really tighten the screws it will take either the first all-in generation from Xbox, or a new major competitior on the scene.
