W-what ?

Do you know that each games cost several millions dollars in development, and figurines cost at least a hundred time less for a lot of them ? They are made in chinese industries and they most probably cost less than 3 dollars each for Nintendo...Nintendo don't use the money from game development for amiibo, you don't have to worry about it.

All the signs are there, they are making more money of the amiibos than from the games, so it is a better bussiness proposition to create more amiibos than to create more games, if they have to spend even less, better for them, right? Wii U disk manufacture is also cheap as hell, but they refuse to produce them for Fatal Frame in USA? and yet they are producing and distributing a TON of amiibos which use more space... Maybe they are not using the production money but it looks like the distribution one has already change course.

No, it's not a better business ! Amiibo are a short term solution, just look at Skylanders, it was a huge success 3 years ago and now, each year less skylanders are sold, and by the next two to three years they will probably be gone forever. The same will occur to Disney Infinity and of course Amiibo.

On the other side, vidoe games aren't a short term solution, you can live on it forever. There's no need to worry about amiibo taking more money, time and interest than video games, it will never be the case. The same applies to Activision and Disney.

People saying no directs are wrong. Nintendo did this type of list a few months ago.

It is usually a short term solution because it burns out the customer, like Nintendo is doing... too much too fast, they should be planning better, they have not finished with Smash amiibos line-up and we already have Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Mario Party, Mario Maker, and more in the pipeline. Slow down a little, people are getting saturated and throw us a bone (a fan pleaser), instead of more amiibo give us a limited edition of Fatal Frame for USA, you know mix it up a little and leave amiibos for the line-up gaps.

Wow, that line up is bad. And I can't believe they are selling bundles for $300. The console needed a price cut a long time to go.

Oh god my wallet is gonna cry.

Few things I noted:

1. I'm still confused as to why Nintendo would do a retailer exclusive bundle. The Super Mario Maker bundle could be huge and they're only limiting its potential by restricting it to one retailer.

2. If we didn't know already that Devil's Third was going to flop, we do now considering it's releasing a week after Xenoblade Chronicles X and pretty much every other good/great holiday game.

3. Sucks that Fatal Frame is only get a digital release.

Fucking pissed about Fatal Frame V

Did Nintendo provided any statement why they go digital only for Fatal Frame V in NA?

hope they would sell the digital version on a cheaper price than the euro/japanese retail price.
