So no Nintendo Directs anymore?
That would be sad. Directs were such a good way to talk to fans, generate hype, and generally make Nintendo feel less like a coorperate faceless company. I always looked forward to them, they were little events. I think dropping them is a very bad idea.

They're probably waiting for Iwata's replacement.

I am not sure if this is can be enough.... maybe it will... xxxx

Sad that there are possibly no more directs, or you think the awesome lineup is sad?

Lineup is pretty solid. I still don't understand, why Nintendo ignore Projects Treasure/Robot/Guard/whatever. They marketing nothing but Spratoon and Mario Maker this year.

No retail version of fatal frame, devil's third for the middle of December, and a LOT of amiibos, yeah Nintendo does not have a clue of how to retain customers.

Those amiibo will make more money than Devil's Third and Fatal Frame combined.

Why? The dates they've revealed are just ordinary dates for titles we already knew about. If they've got something up their sleeves, it'll be announced in a Direct. Besides, there's other reasons to do Directs - the next Smash DLC, any other DLC (such as Splatoon, Hyrule Warriors, or Mario Kart), unrevealed features in announced games, etc.

There's a number of reasons to think that Nintendo is preparing to reveal a new mainline Pokemon title, as hinted at by certain things revealed at the start of the newest movie. Serebii has stated that he's expecting a February release, and if he's right, it'll mean an announcement in the next month or so. And Mario Maker is approaching release... I wouldn't be surprised if they did a Maker Direct, and incorporated a Smash Bros DLC reveal into it (by showing off, say, 8-bit Layton, or Wolf).

Or maybe they'll even go all-out, and have September be the month of game Directs - one a week; Mario Maker, Smash Bros, Pokemon, Splatoon, and Zelda: Triforce Heroes (with a new Zelda U teaser, perhaps?) would work quite well. If they're hosted by their respective head developers, it won't feel strange, not having Iwata - after all, they've had developer-hosted Directs like that for single games for a while.

Most likely but people are getting saturated, I am not buying anymore (I got 4) and the Wii U Group that I manage is tired of amiibos in general, some are even starting to hate them, you know like people got tired of Guitar Hero and Rock Band because there were just too many of those.
