Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Won my first achievement after almost 2 years

I was cleaning my crap, and in a bag full of cables I found my old Nokia phone, I thought it was gone long time ago.

So I remembered I had a ton of games on it, charged it and played some Angry Birds.

My first touch of a Microsoft product since November 2013 when I sold my X360 (I moved to Android around that time as well, maybe a few months earlier). And then there was that almost forgotten plink-plonk.

I wonder if I should finish the game, or just leave it back in the bag and come back next year for another achievement...

Well, nothing really to add, just wanted to share

Ah that plink-plonk..the most satisfying feeling a man can get with his pants on.

It's not old if it has Angry Birds, it's old if it has Snake. :)

So true. Trophies just don't give you that kind of satisfaction, they just sort of sneak in, like they are embarassed that you unlocked them.

I think I mighy dream plink-plonk tonight :)

Nice job lol

Lol, that happy sound of achievements.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I remember playing that on my fathers phone at the airport... The food was just a square and I doubt there were more than 150 squares-worth of space on the screen, if that. Still thought it was pretty cool. There was another game too but I can't remember what it was.

When you think about it that's a pretty pathetic game for any game in the 90's... Coulda had a more engaging experience with a nintendo game and watch in 1981.

For someone that hasn't earned a achievement in over a year your gamerscore is pretty impressive its still almost three times higher them mine.

Yeah, for a couple of years I turned into a huge ach. whore, it was sickening looking back at it.

I entered "rehab" back in March 2013, and got rid of the compulsion.

I'm glad you've been able to stay Achievement free for almost 2 years. I hope this one time binge doesn't throw you back into withdrawal and trigger the addiction all over again. Just stay positive and remember that self-control is the key. Build up your self-esteem and you can achieve. Now, I'm sorry to have to be the bad guy here, but please hand over your Achievement Free for 1 1/2 years pin. You almost got the 2 year pin too 😢
