If Nintendo fans gave this many fucks about the game when it launched it wouldn't have been a complete failure and Ubisoft wouldn't have abandoned the toxic scorched earth that is the wii u.

Who says it's going to sell like crap? I think it's probably going to do alright, and if sales charts are anything to go by, I think they'll do 1m downloads no problem... which I think will be a big success for them.

We've also seen the opposite happen many times. The PC, PS3 and X360 versions of Resident Evil 4 had more features than the GC version, (an entire new story campaign with Ada for example), but the Gamecube version still has a significantly higher (10+) Metacritic score.

Agreed. And a difference of 1.2/10 is nothing against these two reviews (both GameSpot by different reviewers):

I think this only shows how bad greggy reviewed ZombiU. A slow paced survival horror game? Oh my!



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I have a feeling that some people saying it's a different reviewer would question a review if the tables were turned, lets say for exmple if IGN gave the inferior version of Watchdogs a better score then the PS4/X1 version I have a feeling not many would be using the the different reviewer argument.

I'm pretty sure people would still use the different reviewer argument (it is valid in that instance). Why wouldn't they?

Honestly, these type of comments are annoying to see when they're completely ignoring a fact, and instead focusing on mud slinging at another fanbase instead.


It annoys you because it's true, it's not mudslinging at other fanbases as its focused on certain individuals usually they're the ones to get annoyed like yourself, how about assigning a reviewer who has had a good playthrough of the prior versions for a more accurate review if someone different is doing it or the reviewer can play both versions to see how they compare seems fair considering that's their job, anyone who has played the PS4/X1 versions of WD would be able to highlight how the Wii U version holds up that way you get a score that better reflects the product.
