A lot of gamers need to stop looking at the graphics of a game and pay attention to the gameplay more often. As generations past, all we get is the same old games or games delivering the same experiences. ZombiU was one game that was different in all the right places. Its not a graphically feat like Ryse or The Order. It brings back survival instincts that games have been lacking lately and adds it into a FPS genre. Its not about running around hack and slashing Zombies but more about trying to run or avoid them. It makes you fear 1 zombie then just a horde of them. That's what I loved about the WiiU version. Aside from Dead Island and Left 4 Dead which i loved, ZombiU really suprised me. The new versions of the game are going to be interesting without the gamepad features which i felt played a very big part in the atmosphere of the game.

As an fan of the original game, i am glad Ubisoft is trying to resurrect the old franchise.

I am not a fan of how Ubisoft have treated the WiiU customers as of late however I would love to see a sequal to the WiiU version. Definitly a game zombie fans should try out.

ZombiU on the WiiU has a 77 metacritic which isnt bad considering other platforms launch titles seems to have had less. I still think at the time it should of been higher.

I agree. Melee-combat annoyances aside, it's one of the best WiiU games so far. It had some immersive moments (Some aggravating others, too), and in general, it is a nice launch game for a console.

I enjoyed it a lot but it was mainly because Ubisoft really made the gamepad a worthwhile experience for me.
I just don't see it being nearly as fun on PS4 or XOne

Honestly, I think it may have been overrated rather than under. It was one of the games that got me to buy a Wii U and was just a massive disappointment to me.

But you're a Nintendo hater, and were hyped exclusively for Dying Light, so your opinion doesn't count.

I liked it and I wouldn't mind a sequel

"Good concept, poor execution" would be the description that fits best for ZombiU

I agree just got it last week and couldn't put it down. I especially liked the nursery part it was so intense. Even the multiplayer is fun and unique. Game definitely deserved better sales. Playing through the Wonderful 101 now and I can tell it's another really underrated game. Wish Nintendo marketed it more. These unique games are so often forgotten because people aren't comfortable branching out it's a shame. You should take money that you spend on repetitive annual franchises (if you do) and take a risk on something new imo.

I had a semi moment with ZombiU as well. I was coming off the Dead Island era and jumping from DI to ZombiU wasnt mind blowing considering ZombiU had the next gen standards next to its name, however after seeing past the standard visuals of the game, its quite a impressive product. It offered some of the best moments in terms of survival i have had recently and still holds strong as a brutal game to finish and not just brutal because the game was hard, but brutal in terms of if you make a silly mistake your dead. It had you thinking on your toes especially when you start hearing sounds and your not sure where its coming from.

Well thats just my opinion, i guess i just gave the game a chance and after awhile it won me over.

77? It's not better than TEW, so no.

Really? I couldn't stand the game when I played it...

Nothing is better than TEW, except, perhaps, Resident Evil 5.
