GL ever completing Lunatic+ without any sort of grinding shenanigans...at the beginning, enemies has cheap abilities that has at least a 99% chance to OHKO your units except Frederick and 2 enemies with the right abilities can murder a full-health Frederick in a single turn. It doesn't get any better in the latter chapters too...

Nearly ripped my hair off playing that mode on Fire Emblem Awakening.

Lol, name your favorite NES game. There's 'challenging', then there's 'hard', lastly there's 'NES hard.

The hardest game I actually beat was Zelda II. On my NES of course, so no whimping out by using savestates or looking up hints. Not without my fair share of dying; according to the file selection screen I've had Game Over more than 120 times. And you get at least three lives per turn...
