Well goats, he is right though, i want me some halo 5 and forza 6 just as much as the next XB fan, but they do need something big and new to attract people and more so have mainstreamers talk about them...

It shouldn't be that freaking hard, 2 average games like TOLU and Uncharted did the trick for PS (don't get me wrong they are AAA titles, but they are not that much deeper or original than a halo, GOW, fable, sunset overdrive, they just pack what mainstreamers want right now, it's just like movies the biggest blockbuster of the year doesn't need to be the best movie of the year, just to pack the shit people need right here right now... ) and to be fair about the diversity argument PS does have an impressively diverse list of crap and people dig it just like they dig McDonald's it's been like that since PS 2 Pull out a massive amount of diverse crap with a average percentage of average crap and people are happy... Like I said dozens of times PS is the worst thing that happened to the VG industry... They mcdonalized the industry and people are "luv'in it"

True ninty is milking, but they have the ancestral iconic figures for them...

Hahahaha, so What is the best thing that happened to the industry, MS? endimion please...

You said it yourself, Halo and GOW and sunset overdrive are on the same level as killzone and TLOU and infamous. So how is SONY labeled as McDonald garbage and MS isn't?

Both Shuhei Yoshida and Phil Spencer have given the Wii U and Nintendo in general praise because neither Sony nor Microsoft see the Wii U as a serious competitor in the home console space (and since Sony has semi-tacitly given up on the Vita, this is arguably the only console space where they compete anymore). If either of them were to try to attack the Wii U, it could possibly be seen as bad publicity. I think we're only now seeing Microsoft being so overtly positive towards the Wii U because it is now evident that the XB1 is selling much better than the Wii U, which wasn't as apparent a year ago.

Rest assured, if the NX does phenomenally and poses a significant threat to either the PS4 or the XB1, you won't see Spencer or Yoshida praising the NX like this.

This.

nintendo is no longer the behemoth it once was, and with virtually no third party, it won't be anytime soon.

But nintendo still makes the best entry consoles for the young, so Microsoft and Sony do benefit in Praising it rather than killing it
