I'm doing great. I decided to buy very few games this summer and instead focused on clearing my backlog, and now I only have a few games left. I think I'll complete my backlog just in time for Halo 5's release.

Actually very good. Got Splatoon. Beated it. Finished Earthbound. Almost done with KI: U. Replaying ALttP right now, I think I'm almost done with Metroid Prime 2, haven't touched Rayman Legends, and I'll start Metroid Prime 3 when I'm done with 2... If I get going daily or once every 2 days, I may not have a backlog before September, or until I buy another game at least.

Barely have a backlog. That's what only buying games you actually want beforehand does for you.

I've kinda written off some of my older games. I just play them when I can. If the eighth gen, of games I actually intend to beat, it's not that bad.

I already pre ordered until dawn and Gears.  It's gonna be a great year!

I gave up on my ps3 back log :/

I was thinking about getting Splatoon, I guess I won't.

So big, I had to make a spreadsheet with time of play per week and number of hours of each game.

Spreadsheet shows me, I should not buy more games until september 2016 so I can clear my must play backlog.

Forgot to add I should replay FF9 on 2015.

And "Everyone Has gone to rapture" also should be added for 2015

Since I'm all but abandoning my PS3 backlog, all I have to finish are:
-Batman Arkham Knight
-Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
-Sound Shapes (maybe)
-Another TLOU playthrough

I don't call it backlog anymore... It's clear that I won't play most of those games. Finished all my SNES games as a kid, but not all my PS1 games and it got worse from generation to generation.

Maybe 150 retail games, not counting the stuff from steam bundles or free games that I didn't want.

I buy an average of 6 games a year and beat an average of 3 games a year. Problem is, most of the time, the 3 games I beat in a year are from my backlog. The 6 games are also spread across all my game platforms. I have a Wii, Wii U, 3DS, Ps3 and Vita. Occasionally buy stuff on Steam as well. So my backlog is terrible. I need a 2 month holiday dedicated to gaming to clear most of it.
