No. I clearly stated that it is "more refined" than Advanced Warfare and that "a least the maneuverability feels tighter". Like I said, I haven't had much luck getting into matches, so my game time is limited and could only play the overwatch class. I was giving an honest answer and have no intention of doing PR for Activision. I'm glad you like the game. Id had fun too, but I don't want to misslead people. This is a post Titanfall CoD and plays like one. That is important for people that prefer the style of MW over all this sci-fi stuff.

True but AW was like blitzkrieg compared to this.  Everything is slowed down a lot and people are not double jumping while fighting constantly. 

Anyone got a spare Xbox code :D.  Ik its free tomorrow night but that download time.

I can see what yu mean but I don't think they wanted to completely rip off Titanfall with it, it still needed the Call Of Duty feel to it.

So... it's absolutely pointless? 

Have they nerfed the minigun yet so it doesn't tear through people like "a hot knife through butter"?

Beta is shit, though. The maps are AWFUL. Way too small, there's no room to spawn. You should never be able to walk 2 seconds from an objective and be facing an enemies spawn. And to make matters worse, you have two choke points to force them out through, and they have no cover while you do. It's just poor design. I think that map is Combine? The other three are slightly better, but not by much. It's sad that even the bigger ones are plagued by very poor spawns.

I kinda like the small maps. However I have to agree that the wall running was badly incorporated to the maps' designs. You could easily camp near those gaps where people often wall run and get lots of kills. All the player's movents feel a lot more predictable than AW. I'm not quite sure if this is a good or a bad thing.

Xbox One performance analysis.

Resolution seems to be dynamic with a 900p (1600x900) height and a 1344x900 low. Framerate is slightly more stable than the PS4 version (59.92FPS average vs 59.54FPS average in the 2 videos shown) and tearing is less frequent than on the PS4 version, however the LOD (Level of Detail) level is paired back compared to PS4 version and there's more pop-in, and textures load in quite slowly at the start of a game.



Balance Update (only on XB1, not PC):

M8A7

  • Increased time in between bursts –
  • Has a slightly increased upward recoil pattern –

Drakon

  • Increased Recoil
  • Fire rate is a little faster
  • Hitting an enemy in the upper chest no longer 1-hit kills. Neck up does 1-hit kill

Razorback

  • Used to kill in 4 shots out to 1250 units, now should only kill in 4 shots out to 800. Anything beyond 800 should take 5 shots to kill. 850 units is roughly the length of the bridge on Hunted.
  • Slightly increased recoil

HVK

  • Hip spread size is a little smaller.

Vesper

  • Used to kill in 4 shots out to 350 units, now should only kill in 4 shots out to 300. Anything beyond 300 units will be at least 5 shots to kill.

Haymaker

  • Fire rate has increased by about 10%. Should be noticeable. Should take roughly 2.25 seconds to empty a standard magazine.

KRM

  • Up close damage increased. Should never cause a non-lethal hit within 250 units. Damage at a further distance has been reduced and can’t 1 hit kill as far out, even when ADS.

XR-2

  • Delay between bursts has been reduced by a frame, very slight change.

Kinetic Armor

  • Lasts 7 seconds now instead of 5

Active Camo

  • Lasts 5 seconds now instead of 4

Glitch

  • Takes 2 full minutes to earn with no score, up from 1.5 minutes.
  • Travels back 700 units, down from 800

Vision Pulse

  • Range is 1400 units, down from 1600

Ripper

  • Takes 2 full minutes to earn with no score, down from 3 minutes.
  • Lasts for 20 seconds if no attacks are made, up from 15 seconds.

Tempest

  • Beam has a slightly smaller width. Have to be more on target to hit enemies
  • Time in deathcam after being killed is now 2.5 seconds, down from 3

Speed Burst

  • Stays on when moving at full speed after activating for 5.5 seconds, up from 5

War Machine

  • Clip size is now 6, down from 8
  • Explosion radius damage is slightly reduced

Rejack

  • Takes 3 full minutes to earn with no score, down from 2 minutes.
  • The animation time to get up from the Rejack has been increased from 1 second to 1.5 seconds.

I see the balance update still didn't touch the ridiculous Scythe. The minigun is just a bad idea. It shoots fast, kills fast, and comes with enough bullets to easily secure chains of kills if you happen to wander into the easy to find enemy spawns in the simple maps. Considering it's just handed to any player who even plays long enough, it seems like a crap skill.

At least they boosted the Kinetic Armor some.

Yes. I'm sure it'll have some of the same issues as past games, especially seeing as the netcode is still the same, but i really enjoyed the beta.
