It is crazy how good the PS4 is doing, and it still has not had a price cut. PS2 and PS3 had already seen $100 price cuts at this point, and PS4 is siting Neck and neck with PS3. Both of those consoles also had much bigger exclusives out at this point as well.

If PS4 continues this path, then it is going to blow by 50M units in the US in no time. A $100 price cut next year in combonation with Morpheus should push the thing over 10M units next year. If they can follow that up with another $100 in 2018, I think 10M will be the base line for at least 5 years between 2016 - 2020. Would not be all that surprising to see it hit 15M in 2017 and 2018. PS4 is well on it's way to making the PlayStation OS the iOS/Android of home computing.

Hmm, good month for PS4 and close for XOne. Can't say the Wii U figures surprise or even disappoint me any more but at least Splatoon is doing nicely.

As a whole NPD becomes slightly less fun when you can't compare it to our numbers, but it's still one of the best parts of the month.

I want to say it peak at a little over 1 million. So essentially at the end of September 2015 we will be pretty close to where we were end of Sep 2014,. PS4 still no price drop.

The numbers i've posted are rounded to nearest 100k. They are correct. 

How can 16.2M be correct to withing 100K when all we have to go on is "close to 50%". 

Because I know what the numbers are...
