Forums - General Discussion - Your Opinion on Male Bisexuality

This subject has been on my mind for awhile now and I'm honestly curious on how people on this site feel about bisexual men vs. bisexual women or gay men/women or just male bisexuality in general.

The reason I'm specifically asking about bisexual males is because I've noticed that they tend to receive more ignorance, confusion, and/or hate from both gay and straight individuals than their female counterparts but I'll talk more on that later (I'm planning to do a follow up thread if possible). For now I really want to know what you folks think, your honest thoughts and opinions on the subject. Anything is fine though of course be mindful of the forum rules

Are bisexual guys just greedy? or promiscuous? Is bisexuality more of a women thing? Would you date one? Do bisexual guys truly exist? (You don't have to answer these questions but you can if you want)

Coming from someone that used to consider himself bisexual, I definitely empathize with people who actually are because it's the sexuality that people are incredibly misinformed about.

They do exist, no they're not greedy, yes I would date one and I don't believe they should be discriminated against. They're not doing anything more wrong than gay or straight people.

all guys are bisexual. gays and straights are just kidding themselves.

Yes, we do exist ;). And I feel good about it, it's not a question of being greedy or promiscuous. It's just that I feel that I can have a relationship with any person, regardless of his gender, who I feel comfortable with. Although I must confess that I tend to prefer relationships with women, don't know why XDDD. By the way, I don't feel more hate from both gay and straight individuals, but there's a lot of people who don't understand how someone could be bisexual, but, why choose? :P

I don't really care what other people do with regards to how they express themselves sexually. It's immaterial to my life. Frankly, I don't really care what most people do, as long as it doesn't directly impact my life, or harm me or others.

Everyone deserves to express themselves the way they are without getting discrimination. Sadly there will always be people out there who will openly discriminate. Recently society has been more accepting of LGBT people in general, so hopefully this continues.

Have you ever heard of the Kinsey Scale? That would explain why.

Many people that have feelings for both genders don't have a 50/50 attraction.

Who cares? Are they hurting anybody? No? Then let them rock.

Calling a bisexual "greedy" because he likes both men and women is like calling a gourmet "greedy" because he likes both meat and fish. just the way I see it, though, because I don't really understand what problem could a bisexual man pose to heterosexual or homosexual people (I've never seen bisexual people discriminated, at least from where I live).

I've also seen bisexuality as something very, very similar to pansexuality (if not basically the same), as a bisexual doesn't choose a sentimental partner for their gender, but rather, stick with how they are from both the outside and the inside. I mean, maybe they have more tendency to one gender or the other, but still.
