Jokes aside this game is breaking expectations every week lol. Even the most optimistic predictions (well almost all)

Needs to avg 21.05k a week for the rest of the yeat for it to be a million sold.

It seems there'll be no bundle, since they'll discontinue the MK8 one in favor of Super Mario Maker.

Posted on this thread before the recent Media Create/Famitsu weekly sales thread, and it is still very strong. Darn those tentacles. It really might break the 1M mark sooner than we expect.

Are you sure those are the digital sales? I thought the digital report from Famitsu put it at 16k or something like that.

No doubt. Especially with the holiday boost. Which pretty much every game sells amazing during the holidays. So Splatoon definitely will.

That's easy. With the update, it boosted sales by about 15k. I can see it averaging around 25k due to it going into holiday season. Super Mario Maker is on its way and after that, the Wii U is getting a lot of releases. All those games releasing + holiday season will guarantee 1m sold in Japan by years end. 

I mean it's been averaging 20k+ per week in Japan with minimal games releasing and not during the holidays. 

And worldwide I predict it will easily sell 3m by years end.
