Yeah, that would probably be the easier and less expensive option for them.

Looking at the games I actually bought for PS3, the only one that makes sense is Heavy Rain. The FPS games wouldn't be worth the effort. And even with Heavy Rain, with the story told, I don't see myself double dipping.

They have pretty much done or are doing all their really big first party games from the PS3 apart from LBP and Infamous. I don't think they will remaster LBP, so probably the infamous games.

I would love a Resistance and Killzone collection. However I would want both of them to get the full graphical treatment a la The Last of Us / Halo 2, and full support for the Co-Op in every title for me to buy it.

The Dark Cloud series. Hated the first, loved the second. I can see them enhancing the first to be more on par with the second. And there was another I cannot recall. I'll let you know when I remember it.

In terms of remastering new 1st party PS3 games onto PS4, there's no other 1st party games I'd want from Sony from looking at their list.

However, Sony third party exclusive games from last gen I would love to see a remaster of Ni No Kuni, Crisis Core FF7 (giving the same treatment as FF Type-0), and Metal Gear Solid 4 (this time without the constant downloads and load screens)

As well as many have asked for all the GoW games, that would be a nice touch. If Square can re-remaster FFX from PS2 to PS3 to PS4 then Sony can do the same for GoW.

GOW I and II Remake on PS4 would be great.
